The Kope Mountain-Tourist Center is located in the westernmost and highest part of the Pohorje mountain range. Pine forests that hide Pohorje’s hardy mountain farms stretch right to the peaks, and the alpine meadows become outstanding ski slopes in winter. Snow covers the meadows as early as November and disappears only in late spring. The diverse terrain provides a ski area suitable for beginners and experts alike. The longest trail is 1400 meters long and drops 500 meters in altitude. More: www.slo-skiing.net
